Gossip9.lk News : The daughter of Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella ,Chamithri Rambukwella has been appointed as the United Nations Conference Organization Committee Chair by acclamation. Rambukwella was endorsed by the Asia Pacific Group of States for the position of Chair. Year 2013 is the first occasion that Sri Lanka is part of the membership of the Committee on Conferences. Rambukwella, the Second Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York, will be chairing the committee for the term of 2013-2014.-mirror.lk
