Gossip9.lk News : Power and Energy Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi was seen kneeling on the stage and paying her respects to President Mahinda Rajapaksa who was the guest of honour at the SLFP’s May Day celebrations yesterday (May 01) in Colombo. Earlier, this was a task taken up by minister Mervyn Silva. Speaking at the UPFA May Day Rally, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that though the opposition attempted to reverse the course of the country together with imperialists after failing to come to power, there will be no room for treacherous element in the country or foreign force to do so.
