Gossip9.lk News : Colombo Crime division has raided a Casino club in Bambalapitiya which had been in operation without paying the due tribute for the Inland Revenue Department. The raid was commenced upon warrant issued by the Aluthkade Magistrate court, and was directed by the director of the CCD SSP T Ganeshanadan. The cub was charged with offences named possessing illegal liquor and operating an illegal casino. Police media spokesman's office claimed that 13 suspects were arrested during the raid. 43 liquor bottles, 1,080,000 Rupees, 22 US Dollar notes and casino equipment have been confiscated by the police. Police say that the suspects were released on 200,000 Rupee bail. source : 01
